Clinical Quality Digital Project Facilitator - Peterborough

Do you have a keen interest in digital technology and improving patient care? We have an exciting opportunity available as a Clinical Quality Digital Project Facilitator. The post holder will be responsible for supporting the delivery and implementation of digital initiatives aimed at enhancing patient safety and care quality within the Trust. This role involves contributing to the Trust’s digital strategy, facilitating education and training programs, and promoting evidence-based clinical practices. The post holder acts as a role model and leader, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure staff are proficient in using digital systems and technologies.

18 months fixed term contract/secondment
- Contribute to corporate patient safety initiatives associated with National and Trust wide priorities and objectives.
- Contribute to the Trust digital strategy promoting and contributing to, the delivery of high quality, safe patient care and best practice in the clinical setting.
- Assist in the delivery of mandatory education and training across the Trust with a specific focus on the Electronic Patient Management system and other digital projects.
- Facilitate the building of a collaborative relationship with specialist teams across the Trust to ensure the workforce are digitally enabled and aware of initiative changes and developments.
- Contribute and participate in the delivery of the Trust ward accreditation programme.

- Band 6 or comparable experience to include completion of the senior band 5 competency pack.
- Demonstration of autonomous practice.

Education and Qualifications

- 1st Level Registration
- Experience within an Acute Trust.
- Higher Education Studies
- Teaching qualification - accredited mentorship module/SSSA qualification

Knowledge

- Understanding of Quality Governance and its application
- Working knowledge of Trust and National initiatives including a knowledge of digital platforms
- Understanding of National and local guidance on Patient Safety around NEWS/PEWS
- Evidence of continuing professional development.

- Understanding of the functionality of Electronic Patient Record systems
- Evidence of previous teaching experience both informal and formal.
