Trosolwg o'r swydd

Are you a registered Dietitian who is looking to start a career in Paediatrics?

Do you want to be involved in an innovative service that really makes a difference?

Are you enthusiastic about providing excellent clinical care?

Read on as this role might be of interest to you.

This is a progressive Band 5 to Band 6 role open also to newly qualified Dietitians with an interest in Paediatrics. As a Band 5 Dietitian, you will work for up to 12 months to develop and achieve competencies to become a Band 6 Dietitian. However, this post could commence at Band 6 if the candidate has sufficient experience in dietetics. Job descriptions for both Band 5 & Band 6 are attached to this vacancy.

You will work within our friendly Paediatric team delivering both virtual and face to face clinics to a varied caseload and deliver group sessions to families. The role includes training to other health care professionals, covering subjects such as cow’s milk allergy and feeding difficulties. In addition, you will also be involved in supporting the Food First team on the appropriate prescribing of Paediatric nutritional products.

Previous Paediatric experience is desirable but not essential, we may consider a candidate who can demonstrate a willingness to build on existing dietetic skills. The successful candidate would be joining an experienced Paediatric team who would provide regular clinical supervision.
