We have an opportunity for the right enthusiastic and driven person to join our team of Site Managers at North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust in a permanent position. This is a highly visible role working on site across a range of shifts to cover the site management 24/7.
We are looking for someone who has significant experience of senior clinical leadership and operational management either as a registered nurse or registered allied health professional. You will be passionate and committed to both patients and colleagues. We will support you to drive excellent clinical standards of care through our patient pathways, promote a culture of patient and staff safety and support continuous improvement in the service we provide.

Main duties of the job
The Site Senior Manager has a day to day operational role in providing Trust wide leadership and responsibility for the safe management of patient flow and capacity across the Trust. The post holder will work to ensure a safe and seamless patient journey, to enable the Trust to meet key strategic and operational objectives.
This is a highly visible role where you will have day to day operational responsibility for ensuring the smooth running of all aspects of capacity management and site management supporting the delivery of local and national standards. You will on occasion be expected to represent the trust on issues related to the implementation of the mental health act in order to facilitate and ensure safe care and outcomes for this group of patients.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
The post holder will support the Head of Site Operations and Site Senior Leads in the delivery of strategic and operational objectives. A key component of this is supporting the site and staff in meeting relevant access standards. The post holder supports all staff working out of hours to ensure the safe and effective use of resources to provide quality patient care.
The role works autonomously, with the support of on call senior managers and directors to ensure timely escalation and action on all issues to provide maintenance of acute services.

Essential criteria
- RN/RMN/RM/RNLD/AHP Registered
- Evidence of ongoing professional development
Experience
Essential criteria
- Senior nursing/AHP experience at band 7 or above
- Demonstrable ability to meet the Trust Values
Desirable criteria
- Demonstrable and substantial management responsibilities
- Evidence of complex problem solving and decision making ability
Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Demonstrates the ability to interpret and utilise information effectively to communicate, influence and achieve operational or strategic objectives
- Knowledge of current health policy, and highly developed interpersonal skills
- Clearly able to understand the ever changing needs of a busy hospital, with good understanding of local needs
