CT Radiographer

The CT scanning department at the world renown Addenbrooke’s (now Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust) is recruiting for a motivated Radiographer who wants to further their career as a permanent Band 6 CT Radiographer.
You will be required to carry out a wide range of CT examinations, working as part of our motivated and enthusiastic CT team and as part of the multi-disciplinary team across the trust.
You will be required to rotate around all scanning locations, be flexible to work long days where required (totalling 37.5 hours per week) and participate in the out of hours service provision.
You will have DCR (R) or a BSc in Diagnostic Radiography and proven participation in CPD and must have current HCPC Registration. Experience in cross-sectional imaging would be beneficial, however full and comprehensive training will be provided.

The CT scanning department at CUH undertakes a wide range of scanning techniques some of which are not performed anywhere else in the country and in some research instances the world. Due to our close links to the University of Cambridge and the Cambridge Biomedical Campus we can offer the opportunity to work with the most up to date technology, imaging protocols, and be at the forefront of new research and development of new techniques.
We currently have five CT scanners located on site at Cambridge University Hospitals , one scanner located at a local GP practice in Sawston and one at our Community Diagnostic Centre located in Ely as part of the governments drive for Community based imaging away from the acute setting.

A welcome subsidy of £1000 is available to all Band 5 and Band 6 Nurses, Midwives, ODPs and Radiographers and Band 5 Orthoptists taking up substantive employment with the Trust.
Due to Home Office immigration rules, a full time permanent vacancy cannot be filled by individuals on a Student visa. Therefore, please be advised that if you are a Student visa holder, we will not be able to offer you a full time permanent contract unless you have:
- applied for a Graduate visa
- or you will have successfully completed your course and have applied for a Graduate visa before the anticipated start date of your employment
- or the Trust has agreed that they will Sponsor you as a Skilled Worker and you will complete your studies within 3 months of the anticipated start date of employment
