Job overview
Applications are invited for the post of Locum Consultant in Paediatric Respiratory Medicine (10PA's) to commence as soon as possible for 6 months. The post will contribute to the tertiary paediatric respiratory service.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant for this post will join the established team of 5 Consultants in Respiratory Medicine. A specialist interest in long term ventilation/non-invasive ventilation or sleep disordered breathing, is desired but not essential, as well as experience in flexible bronchoscopy.
You will be fully registered with the GMC and ideally have a CCT in Paediatric Respiratory or be within six months of award of CCT at the time of interview. Applications are welcomed from those unable to work full time for personal reasons or those wishing to job-share.

The applicant must have demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking in English that enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues, as set out in the GMC’s Good Medical Practice (2013). Non-UK applicants must possess the IELTS/OET exam before obtaining a GMC licence to practice.
