We can offer exciting full time vacancies  rotational positions (not fixed or set days), which offer an excellent opportunity to be involved in the care of patients within specialist Units (for example Medical Directorate, Accident and Emergency, Neuro, Transplant and Paediatrics) and work within friendly professional teams via a rotational shift system covering a 24 hour service period.

We are looking for confident, positive people with good communication and organisational skills to work directly with medical and nursing staff.  The role is Clinical and you will be required to use the Trust computer system for which full training will be given.

It is a requirement of this role that you undertake the Physician’s Assistant Training Programme, which works towards National Occupational Standards, and undertake Objective Structured Clinical Examinations.

Main duties of the job

Provide clinical skills to patients under the direction of Clinicians adhering to Trust policies and procedures and the Trust Values.

To assist in patient care of specific patient group by undertaking clinical tasks as directed by and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Doctor.

May involve working in a variety of settings including hospital and outreach working.
