An exciting opportunity has become available for a Stores Supervisor who will have responsibility for the day-to-day supervision and development of the Estates Operations Stores. This includes the development, delivery and ongoing management of robust procurement systems and processes.
Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd
Supervise the maintenance of records, including the storage, ordering and inventory of the Estates Operations Stores; perform a variety of line management tasks relative to assigned area of responsibility.
Overseeing, implementing and maintaining stock control procedures.
Ensuring products are received, kitted, dispatched, delivered and managed within the department in a safe and efficient manner.
Supervising stores staff and supporting them in their role within the maintenance department.

Experience

- Working in a stores environment

- Experience in a leadership and/or people management role
Knowledge

- Understanding of health and safety requirements
- Excellent knowledge of stores management procedures and best practices
- Knowledge of COSHH procedures
- Strong knowledge of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Knowledge of ISO 9001 (quality management system)
- Knowledge of ISO 14001 (environmental management system)
Skills

- - Able to use Microsoft Office and stores management systems (e.g. Powergate / Oracle)
- Ability to implement process improvement initiatives
- Strong decision making and problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- The desire to continue learning and developing
