The Breast Oncology CNS team are looking to appoint a confident and highly motivated band 6 Specialist Support Nurse who can multitask with excellent communication skills to work within our small team of specialist Breast Oncology nurses.
The Breast Oncology CNS team provide a robust services for Breast Cancer patient, who require SACT or Radiotherapy treatments within the neo-adjuvant and adjuvant cancer pathway, as well as Breast cancer Metastatic service.
We provide patients with knowledge and support while undergoing their SACT or Radiotherapy treatments. As well as complex palliative support within our metastatic service. We manage and coordinate the Oncology Breast cancer pathways, as well as providing acute clinical triaging.
You would be expected to work alongside a well-established and supportive Oncology Breast team, you would have the opportunity to train and undertake nurse- led SACT assessment clinics, take an active role when working with our Breast Oncologists in Consultant led clinics, attend MDTs, as well as education and supporting our patients in both inpatient and outpatient setting using face to face appointments, telephone discussion and My Chart messaging.

A welcome subsidy of £1000 is available to all Band 5 and Band 6 Nurses, Midwives, ODPs and Radiographers and Band 5 Orthoptists taking up substantive employment with the Trust.
