Job overview

Opportunities have arisen for the positions of Senior Clinical Fellows in Rheumatology at the Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust.

The Department and Trust are fully supportive of candidates  wishing to progress into higher training or pursue the              Portfolio Pathway route to entry onto the GMC Specialist Register.

Successful appointees will be supported in their chosen career pathways which would be discussed during the interview process and upon commencement in post.

The tenure will initially be for a period of 2 years with further extension based on annual ARCP recommendation/satisfactory review. The service has adequate case load to support the progress of the successful candidates.

It would be essential for the candidate to have at least 2 years of experience in rheumatology and internal medicine with a higher degree.  Previous experience will be taken into consideration and an individualised structured programme to support attainment of competencies would be developed.

The successful candidate will be expected to progress through the 2022 Integrated Rheumatology & internal Medicine curriculum based on the work-based assessments, educational supervisor report and ARCP outcome.
