Job overview

We are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic Senior Occupational Therapists to join our rotation which includes Acute Medicine, Orthopedics, Palliative Care,  Stroke and Neurology, Rapid Response and Community.

This post will offer an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience working in a fast paced environment within a well-established team.

 

Main duties of the job

To provide specialist occupational therapy assessment diagnosis and treatment of patients in the area of each rotation (as required) and to the out of hours services.

To maintain close working relationships with other health professionals /referrers to ensure efficient, effective and appropriate delivery of the service.

To supervise and educate student occupational therapists to a graduate standard, working with the Universities to ensure standard of practice and teaching meets the standards set by the degree level qualification.
