Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Degree in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent
- Registered with HCPC
- Evidence of attendance on specialist short courses
- Post graduate dysphagia training internal or external course
Desirable criteria
- MSc in specialist area or working towards higher education learning
- Practice Educators qualification
Experience
Essential criteria
- Post graduate dysphagia experience and ability to manage complex cases independently
- Experience of managing highly complex cases
- Experience of multi disciplinary working
- Extensive relevant clinical experience at post graduate level
- Evidence of attendance on specialist short courses
- Relevant post-graduate clinical work and CPD at a senior level
- Commitment to personal and team development
Desirable criteria
- Leadership Training
- Experience of teaching and supervising undergraduate students
- Experience of audit and research
Skills

- Organisation and time management skills
- Demonstrates enthusiasm for role/profession
