The post is 37.5 hours per week, working across our medical therapy team, including frailty. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work flexibly within our diverse and dynamic teams.
The department has a commitment to ongoing professional development, clinical supervision and proactive approach to staff wellbeing.
Applicants need to qualified OT with HCPC registration. With experience of working in Acute Setting
It is expected that the post holder will contribute to a seven-day services and have a flexible approach to working pattern.

Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd
This is a senior occupational therapy post providing clinical support and teaching to rotational band 5 staff, Therapy assistants and students on placement.
You will assist with coordination of the day to day therapy service delivery in your specific clinical area.
You will take a major role in the advanced assessment and treatment of patients within the specialty, who may have complex and/or chronic presentation, and to determine clinical diagnosis and occupational therapy treatment indicated, and to maintain records as an autonomous practitioner.
The post holder will also undertake a coordinating role in the delivery of the therapy service within their specific clinical area on a day-to-day basis and this will include the provision of a 7-day service in our clinical specialities.

- HCPC registered
- Clinical education training
Knowledge and Training

- Significant post qualification experience in clinical area relevant to post
- Evidence of post graduate training in specialist clinical area
- Have an understanding of developments within the NHS and the Trust, and their implication on Occupational Therapy
- Knowledge of evidence based practice

Experience

- Clinical experience at band 5 in core areas of respiratory, musculoskeletal, neurology and orthopaedics
