An exciting opportunity has arisen in the complex nutrition team for a new full time position for an administration coordinator. We run the first and only complex nutrition virtual ward in the country and need a friendly band 3 administrative coordinator to help us deliver quality care to our patients. We are a small team and would welcome anyone interested to call us for a chat about the role.
Virtual Wards are a national initiative and defined as "A Virtual ward is a safe and efficient alternative to NHS bedded care which is enabled by technology" NHS England and NHS Improvement.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent organisational skills are essential. You must have the ability to use your own initiative and manage, prioritise and complete their workload with autonomy and as part of the team. A good level of IT experience/computer skills is required as managing data on a daily basis will be required.

The qualities we are looking for in successful applicants are:
Excellent communication and time management skills.
Good IT skills including Microsoft Office, with a good understanding of computer data processing.
Good working knowledge of administrative and coordinating practice.
Ability to work both independently and also as part of the wider team, within an agreed level of competence.
Receive referrals from a number of agencies. Coordinating patient reviews
Maintain and develop database monitoring
Discuss any relevant matters with families and carers to support good communication and care delivery
Recording patient information on trust systems
Be responsible for ordering and monitoring stock level for the service
Be flexible in approach to duties and receptive to change
Taking and recording accurately telephone messages and answer-phone messages
Maintain data as required by the service
