Generation Study Regional Results Coordinator

NHS AfC: Band 7

An exciting opportunity has arisen, for a new role working on the Generation Study. We are looking for a West Midlands Reginal results coordinator located within the clinical research team based at Birmingham Women’s Hospital.

This is a newly established role which ensures that babies and their families who receive a ‘suspected condition’ result from the research study have a smooth handover to the NHS for confirmatory testing and, if required, to the relevant care and support pathway. The role is critical to ensure that babies are diagnosed and treated quickly by an appropriate treating clinician, which has a direct impact on these babies’ clinical outcomes and in some cases survival.
