If so, we are an exciting opportunity for band 7 (Part -Time 0.64) Family and Systemic Psychotherapist.
We have launched our brand-new band 7-8a Family and Systemic Psychotherapist preceptorship programme, with a structured support and development plan to enable you to progress to Band 8a Family and Systemic Psychotherapist role on completion of the required competencies.
It is a fantastic time to join our Trust's growing Mental Health Services. Parkview inpatient clinic is also undergoing a £4.6m rebuild to give patients their own en-suite rooms and therapeutic spaces.
Family and Systemic Psychotherapist who would like to develop in their career and Trainees qualifying this autumn are encouraged to apply.
Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd
To promote recovery and provide excellent multidisciplinary mental health services for young people, (aged 11 – 18) and their families accessing care at the Regional Inpatient CAMHS service at Parkview, Moseley, Birmingham. The post holder will provide specialist Family and Systemic Psychotherapy assessment and intervention for young people and their families/carers, contribute to the ward round, formulation, care planning, CPAs and MDT assessments, as well as offer supervision, consultation, training, and staff support to colleagues within an inpatient setting.
Being a team player is important, who offer a high quality of care guided by strong evidence, and who are committed to making a difference to the lives of young people and their families.
The team are excited to welcome more Family and Systemic Psychotherapy colleagues and value the diversity of skills Family and Systemic Psychotherapist can contribute in relation to therapeutic interventions, consultation, supervision, reflective practice, teaching and training, service development and research/ audit knowledge.

KNOWLEDGE & NATURE OF EXPERIENCE

- Experience of, and skill in offering systemic thinking to the complexity of multidisciplinary work in a busy, stressful inpatient setting. This is to include experience of offering staff support groups and staff debriefs

- Experience of working with young people and families in an inpatient/ hospital setting using Family based treatment such as NVR and MFT
