Trosolwg o'r swydd

We are seeking to recruit a psychological therapist to join our Primary Care Team delivering care to the Homeless community. We are based in a GP practice dedicated to the Homeless and have well established links to all other agencies involved in the care of the homeless.

We have two Community Psychiatric Nurses in post, and we wish to develop our mental health services to provide psychological therapies to our service users, professional advice and support for our other team members and to develop integrated care pathways for service users in cooperation with the currently employed nurses, the Community Mental Health Team for the Homeless and the Mental Health Outreach Team for Rough Sleepers.

There is a focus on reducing the impact of psychological distress and risk behaviours, supporting users of the service to access other appropriate multi-agency services and offering individualised psychological treatments.

We are a close-knit hardworking team and require someone who wants to be a team player and is flexible enough to meet the challenges of the post.

We can offer you a wealth of experience in delivering care to the vulnerable and to substance abusers, good team support and great opportunities for personal development and training.

We are based in Birmingham City Centre.
