Our Recruitment Team are offering exciting career opportunities, as we require Registration Authority (RA) and Recruitment Support Officers to join our valuable team in supporting our Trust’s future growth. 

These roles require candidates with excellent customer service skills, as they will work alongside our Recruitment Officers to deliver an efficient and responsive recruitment function, as well as supporting the RA Smartcard Service.

If you have experience in either Administration or Customer Services, this could be the perfect opportunity for you and an ideal way of beginning a career in the NHS.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will be competent in the use of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook.  

Main duties will include;

  • Making jobs live on Trac and NHS Jobs
  • Sending Conditional offer letter
  • Chasing Pre employment checks
  • Scanning and filing
  • Updating Trac and ESR

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

Key Responsibilities for Registration Authority support element of the role:
1. Liaise with other Departments as required, e.g. DTS, Electronic Staff Records (ESR)
Team, Recruitment and Divisional Teams.
2. To transfer and accurately input information from RA forms onto the Care Identity
Service (CIS) IT system.
3. To maintain and update a manual and electronic filing system for all inputted forms,
which complies with national guidance on RA data storage and the Data Protection Act.
4. To ensure that registration forms and copies of personal identity documents are stored
securely and checked in accordance with the national requirements and ensure any
issues are reported to the Recruitment Team Leader.
5. Comply with standard operating procedures to revoke and cancel user access, ensuring
that the procedures are adhered to and any issues are escalated to the Recruitment
Team Leader.
6. Assist user(s) in ensuring their card is secure at the point of issue (by them entering a
confidential pin number).
7. Briefly demonstrate to user(s) how to log on to the system and test their card.
8. Support RA users and sponsors, assisting with any routine queries relating to the
completion of RA forms or the IT system, seeking assistance if required.
9. Update the RA leads of any changes/issues.
10.Respond to emails/correspondence from ID checkers across the Trust to print cards.
11.Add ESR access and associate users on the ESR workbench.
12.Adhere to all relevant Trust policies.
13.Responsible for attending all statutory and mandatory training provided by the Trust.
14.Responsible for maintaining confidentiality and discretion at all times.
15.Train any new members of staff on the RA Process.
