An exiting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and compassionate ward manager to join our respiratory ward team. Kennet and Loddon are looking for a ward manger to cover maternity leave working alongside the existing joint respiratory unit manager.
The ward manager will be responsible for providing clinical leadership. they will act as a role model demonstrating high levels of clinical expertise, managing and and delivering individual patient care. They will lead on ensuring patient safety and staff wellbeing.
Kennet and Loddon is a 50 bedded acute medical ward specialising in care of patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions. Within the unit there is an 8 bedded respiratory support unit (RSU) providing higher level care for patients requiring respiratory support.
Main duties of the job
the post hold will work along the existing senior nursing team to ensure
clinical standards
the management of financial and material resources
the management of human resources and staff wellbeing
