Band 5 Operational Catering Manager - Patient Services Manager
We are looking for a Patient Services Manager to oversee the Patient Meal Service as well as supporting the other managers and the Restaurant when required.
Candidates must have strong leadership qualities with a passion for food and commitment to put customers and patients first.
Strong IT skills are essential for this role.
A positive can-do attitude is a must, with excellent problem solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
Patient and customer care experience is essential.
Ability to liaise with ward sisters / wards / dieticians / SALT & departments whilst always putting the patient first.

Whilst this is a seven day a week operation' primarily the role is daytime Monday to Friday.
Main duties of the job
Main duties are to oversee the smooth and efficient day to day management of the Patient Services in the delivery of approximately 1600 meals a day and support the office administration team when required.
To assist and deputise when required. Including Staff Services Manager.
Together with the rest of the management team ensure smooth, efficient and safe running of the catering function, stores and all its services to the highest standard. Whilst maintaining all food safety policies and procedures, accurate record keeping and adherence to health, safety and quality control measures.
Ability to market the restaurant in line with high street trends and promote and drive new initiatives to generate revenue targets.
To assist Senior Managers in projects / reporting / price reviews / audit returns / legislation updates and training.
