Podiatry Administrator Reading Band 3 – Fixed Term till 31st March 2025 with the possibility of becoming permanent (18.75 hours)
Berkshire Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Podiatry administrator (clerical Officer) to join their team based at Royal Berkshire Hospital, Reading. We are looking for candidates with excellent customer service skills who would enjoy working within a dynamic and friendly team.
The successful candidates will need to have excellent communications skills, be organised and flexible and be able to demonstrate their ability to work on their own as well as in collaboration with others. They will be responsible for the management of patient referrals and appointments whilst creating an efficient and compassionate environment for our patient’s.

Take responsibility for processing referrals for inpatients and outpatients for the Acute Podiatry Team, and booking MDT clinic appointments

Liaise with necessary services to support and assist patients as needed, such as patient transport, interpreting services and other outpatient departments.

Be the first point of contact for patients, ward staff and other hospital services contacting the podiatry department

Collect data and statistics to assist management in guiding the service direction.

Work flexibly in response to the needs of the patients, service and Podiatrists.
