At Practice Plus Group we believe in supporting each other and sharing best practice. You’ll have several years’ experience, at least 2 of which are within the UK. You are committed to your own continuing medical education and professional development. We will also support you to ensure ongoing medical competence through participation in the annual revalidation and reaccreditation schemes of the GMC and the Royal College of Anaesthetists.

 

As our Consultant Anaesthetist, you will provide a wide range of anaesthetic cover - the main specialities covered include, Ophthalmology & General Surgery in the first instance. This will be on an elective basis except where a postoperative patient requires a return to theatre.

In addition to the clinical duties, you will undertake the administrative duties associated with the care of your patients and with the running of the Department. You will be responsible for producing the appropriate clinical records for each patient.  You will work with local managers and professional colleagues in the efficient running of services and will share with consultant colleagues in the medical contribution to management.
