We are excited to offer a new opportunity for a passionate Quality and Compliance Manager to join our Audiology team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our patients receive the highest standard of care, and we are seeking an individual who shares our commitment to excellence.

  • IQIPS & Accreditation: You will manage and support projects to meet the requirements of the IQIPS (Improving Quality in Physiological Services) scheme, an accreditation program managed by the UK Accreditation Service, UKAS. You will be instrumental in ensuring the service attains and maintains accreditation. 
  • Digital Support: You will be required to manage System and Application upgrades and provide general IT support.

Working Pattern: The position offers the potential for a hybrid working pattern, blending on-site presence with the flexibility of remote work.

Main duties of the job

  1. To develop and maintain tools, systems and reporting methodologies to manage Audiology information and data.
  2. To report on and monitor compliance against IQIPS standards.
  3. To prepare dashboard data and service summaries to meet Audiology’s reporting requirements. 
  4. To identify service improvement, development or change as evidenced by data analysis and UKAS requirements.
  5. To be responsible for the monitoring and validation of statutory Audiology waiting time data (DM01) and provide assurance of data quality.
  6. To identify potential diagnostic breaches, provide analysis of activity and seek resolution of issues/’blockages’ within the statutory timeframe standards.
  7. To manage system upgrades throughout the Audiology Service.
  8. To work closely with the Digital Team to provide support to the Audiology Service.

  •  To provide expert knowledge of IQIP requirements.
  • To collate required performance and quality information in a timely manner.
  • To collate defined audit reports in collaboration with Head of Audiology.
  • Provide administrative support to Audiology Leads for IQIPS-associated tasks, as well as administrative support related to any other improvement projects.
  • Develop and maintain a system to record, monitor and track project progress and the related activities and actions within the department.
