Job overview

The post holder is expected to work as a member of a team and ensure that the provision of Catering Services to patients, visitors and staff is of the highest standard and quality. 

Main duties of the job

An opportunity has arisen for a Cook Team Leader who is enthusiastic, reliable and motivated who works well as part of a team, in a busy kitchen environment. Able to cover Wrexham & Flintshire Hospitals.

Basic duties include the preparation and cooking of food for patients, staff, visitors and functions and the maintenance of high standards of quality and hygiene.

Skills and qualities: 

  • Sufficient experience of working as a Chef catering for large numbers
  • Flexible approach to work and needs of the service
  • Excellent team worker.
  • Friendly and professional approach
  • Maybe required to work in other units
  • Weekend work included
