Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 4 Physiotherapy Technical Instructor to work within the Community Resource teams ( CRT)  in Denbighshire based with the Rhyl CRT therapy team.   

The successful candidate will be joining an established and supportive team of therapists (PT and OT) who work very closely within the CRT teams including with the District Nurse Team, Social Services and Reablement teams and linking with Primary Care teams, and other partners.

Main duties of the job

The successful Candidate will: 

  • Assist the qualified physiotherapist in the overall management of patients therapy needs in collaboration with carers, support workers, health staff and agencies.
  • Under the direction and guidance of the qualified physiotherapist, to manage and be responsible for their own clinical caseload of clients, following therapeutic programmes in order to improve their physical abilities and to minimise disabilities.
  • Issuing equipment as appropriate. 
  • Work independently using own initiative, within level of competence.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply. 

The ability to travel to meet the needs of this role is essential.
