Please be advised that there is a temporary top up for Bands 1,2 and 3 to reflect the incorporation of the top up to the  living wage of £12 per hour - £23,465 per annum. This temporary top up will be in place until  the annual pay uplift for 2024/25 is confirmed

The West Area Team are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Llyn District NursingTeam, to provide a high quality administrative service for the team.

The post holder would support the District NursingTeam in the day to day running of the department and delivering an accurate, confidential and supportive administration assistance for all service users.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

The main duties of the role entail:
Providing secretarial support to the team, including filing, and photocopying and managing internal and external mail.
Deal with queries and correspondence as required from various agencies.
Undertake audits.

Support team with Civica system
Support with General Typing.
Support the team with data entry, ordering of consumables, reporting and training.

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Good General Standard of Education (e.g. GCSE Maths and English A-C and above or equivalent).
  • Good I.T Skills and computer awareness including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
Desirable criteria
  • Knowledge of the Hospital I.T. Systems

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Previous clerical/ office experience.
Desirable criteria
  • Experience of working in a healthcare setting.

Aptitude and Abilities

Essential criteria
  • Good Communication skills both written and verbally.
  • Able to prioritise tasks.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Ability to work alone as well as part of a team.
