Job overview
We are a well-established, GP surgery and Urgent Treatment Centre with over 12,000 registered patients who we put at the centre of everything we do it’s essential that we provide a seamless service to our patients and that their experience is of the highest quality. We’re passionate about what we do, and we have established a track record that shows that we are good at what we do.
As an Administrator you will assist and work alongside the Clinical team and practice management team to deliver care and meet the needs of the service users.
The Service opens Monday to Sunday, 08:00 to 20:00 and is supported by a corporate framework including HR, Finance and IT functions.
Main duties of the job
- Handling internal and external enquirers from all sources, in person, by telephone, email or post.
- Process and filing letters into patients medical records and coding them to a clinical system.
- Make effective use of the IT system by ensuring the consistent and accurate entering of data.
- Promote effective communication and relationships within the team and work collaboratively to achieve the objectives of the service contract and aspirations of the team.
- Support practice campaigns as and when necessary.
- Help with patient queries and handler overflow calls during busy periods.
