We are a partnership of 10 north central London NHS trusts whose purpose is to deliver high quality and better value shared NHS corporate services at scale.

Launched on 1 December 2021 with transactional recruitment services, our experienced and knowledgeable team help staff across our network to access the information, systems and processes they need quickly and seamlessly, allowing staff to focus on the frontline and enabling the best use of NHS resources.

The NLPSS board is made up of executive-level representatives from each trust in the partnership who agree on an annual business plan which is executed by the managing director. Within this structure, individual services are accountable to the managing director, who reports to the board.

NLPSS is hosted by The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust, acting as the legal entity, contracting authority and main employer of staff.

Job overview

We have exciting opportunities available in the Recruitment Directorate at North London Partnership Shared Services (NLPSS)!

 We are currently recruiting for several Band 4 roles across our Recruitment Service.

 At NLPSS, our expert recruitment teams provide end-to-end employment services for 8 north London NHS Trusts in our partnership. We pride ourselves on operating a customer-first approach, providing timely, efficient recruitment solutions to our trust allowing them to time and resources to deliver excellent patient care.

 As a team member in our Recruitment service, you will support one of our specialist teams to deliver high level customer service and recruitment expertise to clients, candidates and key colleagues. The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate the Trust values and the responsibilities of the job description and person specification. You should preferably have recent experience of working within a busy office environment. We will also consider applicants with demonstrable transferable skills, if you do not have NHS or Recruitment experience. You must be an excellent organiser with strong communication skills with a passion for customer service.

 As we have a number of positions available, we are running a group ‘assessment centre’ style interview for these roles where you will be able to express an interest in multiple roles.

 Please note, this role is based at The Enfield Civic Centre Site, with at least 3 days to be worked in the office.

Working for our organisation

North London Partners Shared Services is a partnership between 10 NHS provider organisations within North Central London. These include large acute hospitals, teaching hospitals, specialist tertiary centres and mental health/community providers. One of the ten partners – Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust – is additionally the lead employing organisation for trainees engaged on Health Education England (London and the South East) training programmes in general practice or public health.

North London Partners Shared Services are hosted by Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust and all of the staff members working in shared services are employed by Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. Staff members who join North London Partners Shared Services from another NHS organisation enjoy continuity of NHS employment.

Essential criteria
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office packages.
  • Confident working with people at all levels, internal or external to the organisation.
  • Able to analyse information and produce written documentation to a high standard.
  • Ability to analyse complex information and identify appropriate recommendations.

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Knowledge, training and experience in a range of HR procedures to Higher National diploma level qualification in a relevant subject or equivalent experience.
Desirable criteria
  • Completion of an intermediate level course in human resource management activity, or office systems or equivalent qualification.

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Relevant and significant clerical/administrative experience in a busy office.
  • Experience of working within a customer focused environment.
Desirable criteria
  • Knowledge of employment procedures.
  • Knowledge of employment legislation
  • Experience of working within a high-volume recruitment setting
  • Experience of working within the public sector or NHS.
