Job overview

A new permanent full-time post of Training & Development Administrator has been developed within Mental Health & Learning Disabilities Service.  The main function of the post holder is to support developments across the Division by maintaining accurate training records, creating and data-checking reports, facilitating access to training opportunities and learning material, and supporting training days and events.

The post holder will support the work of the MH&LD Training & Development Group through minute-taking and collation of relevant information and actions.

The administrator will input into the online learning system and be proficient in using all aspects of Microsoft office applications. 

We are looking for a compassionate, organised and motivated individual to take this role.  You will have excellent communication skills, being the first point of contact for training & development queries.

The post will be based in the Staff Wellness Centre in Bryn-y-Neuadd, Llanfairfechan.  Suitable to be considered for flexible working and/or a job share.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will support training and development across the MH&LD Division by providing an expert administration service. The post holder will support event management, vocational education, mandatory training, training modernisation, and organisational development. The administration service will develop and the post holder will input into the creation of best practice and processes.

 The post holder will have excellent communication skills being the first point of contact for training and development enquires.  The post holder will be empowered to make decisions in line with service level agreements, policies and key performance indicators.

 The post holder will accurately input and maintain the Oracle Learning Management System Training and Development electronic mailboxes and other electronic and Betsinet functions.

Produce and circulate reports and information as required including data quality checking.

 The post holder will provide a secretarial service to the training and development groups across the Division, supporting diary management, organisation of meetings, programmes and events as directed by the Training, Development and Wellbeing Lead.

 The post holder will support the day to day running of the training days.

The post holder will have the ability to prioritise and manage a number of conflicting requirements to ensure compliance with Key Performance Indicators.

Essential criteria
  • Good standard of general education/GCSE
  • NVQ level 3 in a customer service or administrative field or relevant experience
  • Advanced Keyboard Skills RSA 2/3 or equivalent experience
Desirable criteria
  • IT related qualification

  • Knowledge of a range of administrative processes.
  • Experience of working in a busy office environment.
  • Ability to create comprehensive reports from data using Excel
