The salary scale above has been agreed as part of the NHS Agenda for Change pay award for 2024/2025 and will be implemented in November 2024 backdated to 1st April 2024 where applicable.
Job overview
We are currently seeking an (Electrical/ Mechanical Bias) enthusiastic self motivated, dynamic Engineering, Building & Grounds Team Leader and will fit into this very important role within the Operational Estates department. You will provide direction, leadership and technical support to the maintenance teams which are responsible for the completion of planned corrective work, breakdown repairs, and continuous improvement activities
Main duties of the job
You will be time served with a recognised indentured apprenticeship in Electrical / Mechanical or Building Services HNC/HND or equivalent level of knowledge and/or experience in the Engineering trade.
You will have gained experience within a team leader role and preferably within an hospital environment and have extensive knowledge of Engineering systems.
You will participate in an out of hours on Call rota.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
