Job overview

An exciting opportunity has become available to work alongside experienced acute care staff in central mental health in delivering Home Treatment care, assessments and ongoing monitoring of individuals with acute mental health illness.

The role involves providing day-to-day care for patients under the supervision of a registered nurse to contribute to the patients care and treatment needs in their own home.

If you are a sensitive, enthusiastic and an empathic individual who is able to well work well as part of a multidiscipline team utilising your own initiative then this vacancy will provide you with the ideal opportunity to utilise those skills.

Main duties of the job

  • To provide day to day care for patients under supervision of a registered nurse which adheres to best practice, standards and guidelines, and contributes towards the patients care and treatment.
  • To assist the registered nurse in carrying out day to day care of individuals, endeavouring to provide for the holistic needs of individuals in conjunction with other disciplines within the health care environment.
  • To assist the registered nurse in providing a high and consistent level of holistic care, maintaining the dignity and equality of the individual. This includes direct care

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
