An exciting opportunity has become available to join our team on Aran ward within Ysbyty Gwynedd as a registered nurse.
Aran Ward is a busy 30 bedded dynamic and fast paced ward specialising in gastroenterology who are passionate about delivering high quality patient care. The nursing team are proactive, innovative and have a wealth of knowledge in this specialist area. The ward in collaboration with medical colleagues supports all acute medical care needs of our patients. A team working approach is adopted to ensure both safe practice, individualised care and a positive patient experience is created for all patients.
Main duties of the job
Responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of evidenced-based nursing care, working collaboratively and cooperatively with others to meet the needs of patients and their families.
Assist in the management and organisation of their clinical area and participating in the education, development and supervision of other staff members.
Take responsibility for a ward or equivalent sphere of nursing, in the absence of the senior nurse or person who has continuing (24 hour) responsibility.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
