Please be advised that there is a temporary top up for Bands 2 and 3 to reflect the incorporation of the top up to the living wage of £12.60 per hour - £24,638 per annum.

Job overview
The post holder will actively participate in the effective and efficient running of the AMD service. This will include audio typing of clinics, medical correspondence, and diary management with a decree of contact with patients, GP’s, relatives and carers of patients. The post holder would also provide a secretarial service to the consultancy team.
At all times the post holder will be expected to use discretion, sensitivity and deal with information in a confidential and professional manner.
Main duties of the job
Prepare case notes for clinics in accordance with the clinic prep procedure ensuring that all the relevant patient documentation is available and complete for each clinic appointment
Organisation and safe keeping of all patient case notes whilst held in the department, and be responsible for updating the Medical Records Tracking System
To ensure all patient related documents, including letters, funding agreements, results, reports etc are filed in the patients case notes promptly and accurately
Provide a secretarial service to the consultancy team this will include typing letters, booking appointments, filing, sending out post and dealing with patient queries.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
