We are looking for a highly skilled HCPC registered paediatric dietitian, to join the paediatric dietetic team (approximately 25 dietitians) at Southampton Children's Hospital as a band 7 paediatric dietitian for PICU. You will be an integral member of the well respected multidisciplinary PICU team and work on the 14 bed purpose built unit, providing nutritional expertise, overseeing enteral and parenteral nutrition and working across specialisms to provide integrated care to children from 0-18 years of age.

We are the lead centre for paediatric intensive care in South Central England. Our 14 bed purpose built unit cares for children from birth up to 18 years of age.
We care for patients with some of the most complex illnesses and injuries and work closely with specialists from all surgical and medical areas.
The unit, which looks after 950 to 1,000 patients per year from across southern and central England, is the sixth largest PICU in the UK by number of admissions and has one of the best survival rates. Children are referred to us from hospitals as far afield as Plymouth, Milton Keynes and the Channel Islands. We also have a 24-hour retrieval service.

We believe that using technology wisely shows strong time management and commitment to innovation. However, personalizing your recruitment application to highlight your unique skills and experiences is crucial. Relying too heavily on generic, AI-generated content instead of drawing from your own strengths and accomplishments may lead to your application being rejected if multiple candidates present identical or similar information.
At UHS we’re committed to providing a flexible working environment where possible. Whether you are balancing family, study, or your wellbeing with your career, we want to support you so you can help our patients.
At UHS, we proudly champion individuality, recognizing that outstanding care is only possible with a diverse, inclusive team.
