 Evolutio is an independent Hospital Eye Service provider, established in 2011 and having seen over 1 million patients, using milti-disciplinary clinical teams, working together to deliver a high-quality ophthalmology outpatient and minor surgical service, for NHS and self-pay patients.

Evolutio covers a breadth of Ophthalmology services for NHS and private adult  patients,  Evolutio is currently investing in our ophthalmology service. The ophthalmology team are supported by a Continuous Clinical Improvement Officer and Clinical Lead.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Ophthalmologist with expertise in performing Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty (SLT) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and managing glaucoma patients, performing SLT procedures, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

                Key Responsibilities for SLT

• Perform SLT procedures in accordance with established protocols and best practice.
• Provide comprehensive pre and post SLT laser care, including patient education on SLT.
• Collaborate with fellow ophthalmologists and clinicians/opticians, healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plan.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures.
• Ensure all equipment is maintained and meets safety standards.
• Stay updated on advancements in the laser treatment techniques.
