If the answer is yes then we are East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust and have an exciting opportunity for you at Ipswich Hospital.
We are looking for a Clinical Flow Nurse, with the ability to work with all colleagues throughout the hospital to provide a safe and effective care through the coordination of clinical resources across the Trust 24/7.
Main duties of the job
This will involve facilitating patient flow throughout the integrated pathways and medecine clinical areas, to ensure that the patient is admitted in a timely fashion, receives the right treatment in the right place and is signposted to alternative service providers in accordance with agreed pathways and protocols of care.
You will act as a support for the Operations Team and Transfer of Care Hub to ensure the safe and effective use of resources to provide quality patient care. Working autonomously, but with support and liaison within the team, the post holder will ensure the timely action and communication of all issues ensuring services patient flow is maintained.
