An exciting opportunity has arisen for a colorectal Clinical Nurse Specialist. This post would suit someone who is highly motivated and looking for an opportunity to develop further. We are seeking a compassionate, dynamic and motivated individual to join our well established and supportive colorectal  CNS team.
 
Your communication and interpersonal skills will be highly developed as they are integral to your success in providing the highest standard of care and support to patients with  colorectal cancer diagnosis, as is the ability to manage distressing situations involving patients and careers and act as a key worker to ensure single point of contact during a complex pathway.
 
The post holder will work autonomously  as part of the multidisciplinary team and also  develop positive and collaborative relationships.
This position provides an excellent role for a registered nurse who has experience in either Cancer services, Surgery, and or Endoscopy. It provides a new exciting challenge for an individual who is looking to gain experience or a career in specialist nursing practice.                                        "

Demonstrate a high level of clinical decision making and an ability to monitor and improve standards of care within the Colorectal service. He/she will influence patient care with a multi-faceted approach that includes clinical expertise teaching and research.

Patients across north east London are benefitting from two new state of the art theatres at KGH and our Community Diagnostic Centres at Barking Community Hospital and St George’s Health and Wellbeing Hub will significantly increase the number of scans that can be carried out.

We’re looking forward to introducing an electronic patient record next year. This will mean the records of any patient visiting one of the seven hospitals run by BHRUT and Barts Health will be accessible to the clinical teams. It’ll make things easier for staff and will be better for patients.
