Main duties of the job
As a Bank Cardiac Radiographer, you will:
- Contribute to the delivery of the Cardiac Catheter service
- Produce high-quality images across a range of cardiac examinations, supporting services such as cardiovascular angiography, electrophysiology, ECMO, TOE, and other interventional techniques for both adult and paediatric patients
- Ensure the smooth operation of the Cardiac Catheter lab service
- Collaborate with senior management
- Promote education and training
- Maintain up-to-date competency records
We are looking for a motivated individual with:
- HCPC registration
- Experience in cardiac imaging
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and education
- The ability to work autonomously

- Understanding of HCPC Professional standards and requirements of it for practice and behaviour and its application to the management of staff and self
- Significant relevant clinical experience in the field of Cardiac angiography
- Understanding the theory and application of clinical governance
Qualifications & training

- BSc (Hons) Radiography/DCR
