The post-holder will play a key role in supporting the Merton And Wandsworth Primary and Community Team in the provision of excellent, high quality and flexible administrative and business support to the team generally and particularly to the Director.
The post holder will:
• Act as a point of contact for teams, dealing and responding effectively with complex queries from stakeholders and passing on relevant information to appropriate team members sensitively and autonomously.
• Servicing programme boards, preparing agendas, taking minutes and distributing notes including typing up of group discussions and interviews as necessary
• Diary management for the Deputy Director
• Organising and planning events as necessary supporting information material.
• Supporting management and project leads in project management and participating in department events.
• Working with all team members in the collection of information for performance reporting on relevant team projects
• Supplying the relevant information required for financial management and supporting the team in use of the SBS system
• To provide administrative support including when appropriate to all team members to support a range of department initiatives
• To provide support and facilitation for self-management and social prescribing initiatives

The post holder will be required to provide specialist administrative support and advice by:
• Work together with other administrators/PA’s within the Merton and Wandsworth Team and the ICB to provide an effective network of communication
• Develop links and relationships with relevant staff in key partner organisations,. E.g. London Borough of Merton, London Borough of Wandsworth and local NHS Providers.
• Be a point of contact for all team members for any requirements around stock, stationery, IT or other equipment.
• Propose, develop and implement changes to practices and procedures relating to the administrative and related functions of the directorate.
• Exercise judgement relating to issue requiring escalation to the relevant level of management. They may also be required to carry out straightforward pieces of analysis relating to the preparation of reports.
• Adhere to all staff policies, procedures and guidelines as well as providing administrative support relating to HR processes, e.g. appraisals and recruitment.

• to improve outcomes in population health and healthcare;
• tackle inequalities in outcomes, experience and access;
• enhance productivity and value for money and;
• help the NHS support broader social and economic development.
NHS South West London Integrated Care Board decides how the South West London NHS budget is spent and develops plans to improve people's health, deliver higher quality care, and better value for money.
