You will be joining an established multi-disciplinary clinical team. The SOAMHS and CIDS teams are integrated and work along New Ways of Working.  The SOAMHS team provides a specialist service for the assessment and management of mental health needs to patients over 70 who require older people's services as outlined in the Royal college of Psychiatrists document "Age discrimination in mental health services: making equality a reality". The CIDS team offers a service for all patients with a primary dementia

We are looking for a candidate with the drive, enthusiasm and vision to improve our team’s delivery of care, and contribute to our ongoing expansion and transformation of mental health and community health services.  A candidate who is not just good at looking after the interests of the patients our teams will treat today, but can also think ahead and gradually improve everything we do to improve outcomes for all of our future patients and carers. The willingness and ability to do the latter well which separates average, from exceptional, high-performing, clinicians and this is what we are seeking.
