Trosolwg o'r swydd

 An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and dynamic co-ordinator to join CLCH’s support services team.

The purpose of this role is primarily a specialist advisory and monitoring role to ensure that the Trust delivers an environment that is safe and secure to help ensure that the highest standards of clinical care can be delivered to service users. The role is also an advisory resource for all employees in matters relating to preventing violence and aggression and other security related issues such as the protection of property and assets, lone working, and promoting a pro-security culture.


Key responsibilities include:
•    supporting the safety of the Trust’s lone working population
•    ensuring the management of the Trust’s personal safety device asset
•    advising the Trust on the management of staff and site safety
•    reporting on incidents and the outcomes of incident investigations
•    advising reporters and investigators on the handling of incidents of violence and aggression against staff
•    advising reporters and investigators on the handling of incidents of affecting the security of sites and property 
•    identifying and managing risks in relation to staff and site/property safety and security
•    active promotion of the Trust’s tackling unacceptable behaviour campaign
•    managing and administration of local project work

A demonstrable experience of continuing professional development is essential, as education to Masters Level or an equivalent combination of Post Graduate Diploma, short courses and experience.


The post holder will possess effective skills in communication and negotiation and will be able to demonstrate motivation and customer focus in their way of working.

Swydd ddisgrifiad a phrif gyfrifoldebau manwl

•    To provide strategic and professional advice, skills and expertise to tackle issues of violence and aggression and other security management issues relating to the protection of Trust property and assets
•    To provide strategic and professional advice and engage in the preparation, development and review of security related strategies, key performance indicators, policies, procedures, guidance, action cards, threat and vulnerability assessments, workplans, reports and training
•    To be aware of the complex reasons for violence and aggression within services and participate in strategic planning to promote a change in culture where necessary.
•    To lead on day-to-day work in the Trust to tackle unacceptable behaviour against staff in accordance with legislation, regulation and contractual obligation.
•    To monitor patterns of breaches and incidents of security and violence & aggression and make recommendations for changes in relation to new ways of working, deterrent effects and new security management systems to enhance the Trust position.
•    To regularly review security continuity planning, escalation management and recovery arrangements should a major incident occur.
