WHAT YOU’LL DO:

•    Manage inpatients and outpatients with neurological diseases and contribute to the regional stroke MT service.
•    Develop a subspecialty service, we would be particularly keen on candidates with interests in MS and neuro-infective disease, but all subspecialties will be considered.
•    Take part in regional and departmental CPD and governance activities. 
•    Contribute to research and education.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Individuals wishing to apply must be registered with the General Medical Council (GMC). 

The successful candidate will be employed under the terms and conditions of service for Consultants (England) 2003.

  • GMC registration with a licence to practise
  • CCT in Neurology (or expected within 6 months of interview)

Previous or relevant experience

  • Previous experience in participating in undergraduate and post graduate teaching.

  • Experience with hyperacute stroke management including thrombolysis and MT.
