•    Primary and secondary mental health care for children and adults including specialist inpatient child and adolescent mental health provision, perinatal mental health, forensic services including low and medium secure care.
•    Specialist community support for children and adults with learning disabilities and autism, including intensive support.

The Trust was first established in 2002 and employs approximately 7,000 staff who provide care from more than 400 sites. The Fylde Coast are seeking an experienced leader to undertake the role of Service Manager with the Harbour Inpatient facility.  This is an exciting opportunity and the successful candidate will be part of an evolving service that has the needs of our service users at its heart.  The inpatient team have started their improvement journey which is set out over 3 years.

The plan supports collaboration between all our partners in primary care, social care users and carers. 

The direction for change is to ensure our service users and carers receive timely and accessible services; and that both physical and mental health needs are addressed with parity. The new model of care helps the identification of strengths; supports choice and is underpinned by a single care plan via Dialog+ and accessible to all involved in the person’s care.

We are looking for someone who demonstrates the characteristics of a high performing leader to come and join a forward thinking, dynamic and a constantly developing team.

The post holder will be responsible for the operational management of services within the Harbour. They will ensure that service lines deliver patient pathways that meet all quality and operational performance targets and that these are monitored and tracked.

The post holder will lead, develop and manage and work in conjunction inpatient teams within a portfolio to ensure that our services provide a high quality care for our service users.
