Are you a Health Visitor looking for a role within a committed, supportive team of likeminded professionals?

We have a vacancy for a qualified Health Visitor to join our forward thinking, friendly team based in Bracknell. 

Whether you are an experienced health visitor or newly qualified, we are committed to providing you with individualised and effective support.

Within this role you’ll deliver a proactive and responsive health and development service to children aged 0-5 and their families. You will collaborate with Children’s Centre’s in the implementation of the Healthy Child Programme.

Working for us includes the benefits of belonging to one of our small, supportive, and skilled teams of Health Visitors, Staff Nurses and Nursery Nurses, as well as being an integrated part of our wider 0-19 service.

You will require excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to work in partnership with other teams and agencies, along with a passion for working with children and families.

We welcome applications from both full time and part time applicants with a minimum of 22.5 hours per week. Our service operates between 09:00-17:00 Monday to Friday.

  • Develop and implement outcome focused care plans and evaluate care given, in partnership with clients.
  • Provide support to families using the Solihull approach model in behaviour management, parenting skills and delivering programmes of care to vulnerable families.
  • Develop and facilitate Health Visiting drop in clinics, health promotion activities and groups.

  1. You must be a Registered Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (Health Visiting) active on the NMC register
  2. You will be a Non-medical prescriber
