Key Responsibilities:

•            Provide expert clinical care and consultation to patients with diagnosis or personality disorder with/without comorbid diagnoses.

•            Undertake Responsible Clinician duties as defined under the Mental Health Act.

•            Lead multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of individualised care plans.

•            Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, diagnoses, and treatments.

•            Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

•            Participate in teaching and training activities for junior doctors and other healthcare staff.

•            Engage in research and quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinical practice.

•            Ensure compliance with all relevant clinical guidelines, policies, and regulations.

•            Participate on the on-call rota

Qualifications and Experience:

•            Medical degree and full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).

•            CCT in Psychiatry or equivalent.

•            Approved Clinician status and eligibility for Responsible Clinician role.

•            Extensive experience in the assessment and treatment of a broad range of psychiatric disorders.

•            Strong leadership and team-working skills.

•            Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

•            Commitment to continuous professional development and education.
