We are looking for an experienced Registered mental health Nurse (RMN) to join our team working as a part of the MDT aiming at providing the Reading population with the excellent mental health care.

We take a psychosocial approach encompassing mental health and physical health needs. You will be working within multiple sites and clients’ homes across the locality. The right applicant will be part of a new team within RCMHT supporting Clients by administering Depot Medication, physical health assessments and provide education around their mental and physical health.

You will be involved in the organisation and running multiple clinics across reading supporting clients with Depot medication administration, assessments of their mental and physical health needs working within the guidelines set out by the trust and governing bodies,

As a Senior Mental Health Practitioner, you will have chance to line manage students and junior staff, undertaking their annual appraisals, PDP’s and proactively supporting their development review cycle.

You should have the ability to think calmly and logically under pressure and have a positive attitude to maintaining high standards of work at all times and be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills.  You will be quick to learn, be able to work as part of a team but also possess the ability to work unsupervised, using your own initiative.

Accuracy and attention to details is essential for this post with a good level of competency in using Microsoft applications.  Strong organizational skills are essential. Due to the mobile nature of this role, you will need a full valid UK driving license and access to your own vehicle insured for work purposes.
