The service will provide health learning and improvement for all school-aged Children & Young People aged 5 – 19 (or 25 where there are special educational needs). The service will be a high quality, visible, accessible and confidential service that improves their health and wellbeing and reduces health inequalities. The service will be responsible for delivering key elements of the universal Healthy Child Programme leading, delivering and evaluating preventative services and universal public health programmes within both school and community settings including youth centres, children’s centres or at home.
