An opportunity has arisen for the post of Senior Technical Instructor / Team Leader Services, working within the Estates & Facilities Division at Calderdale & Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust.
The post holder will provide day-to-day supervision of Loan Store Technical Instructors, deploying staff and equipment according to policies and procedures. Ensures equipment issued to clients of the Integrated Community Equipment Service and items used within the store are maintained, serviced and inspected to meet relevant legislative standards.
The post holder will supervise staff in all aspects relating to the provision of equipment, including training, quality standards, cleaning, health and safety, stock control, maintenance and testing of returned equipment.
The successful candidate must have demonstrable and significant experience at junior manager or supervisor level within the facilities management environment. This must have the ability to lead and manage delivery teams, along with good interpersonal skills, relationship building skills and excellent communication skills both in writing and face to face.
The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
