Queen Victoria Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Medical Workforce Business Partner to join a supportive and dynamic team to build integral relationships with our Medical and Dental colleagues.  

The position is well suited to an individual who has gained experience in a Medical Workforce role and must have experience in the following to be able to take the lead on:

Consultant Job Planning rounds and new job plan set up.
Revalidation and Appraisal 
Junior Doctor rotas
Annual Leave for Medical and Dental

You will have expert knowledge in Medical and Dental terms and conditions, experience in the areas above and the ability to build relationships with a range of colleagues and peers both internally and externally. and working closely with the Medical Director and Clinical Directors.  With line management of a Medical Workforce Assistant.

Main duties of the job

The Medical Workforce Manager will support the Head of Employee Services Manager, Medical Director and Clinical Directors in delivering the system response to the NHS people plan, and will provide support and development to operational managers and the wider workforce team in medical & dental terms and conditions matters. The post holder will be highly visible and will maintain and develop constructive working relationships particularly with the Medical Director, Guardian of Safe Working, General Managers, Clinical Directors and Leads, Medical Education team, Director of Medical Education and Consultant colleagues.
