An opportunity has arisen within the Trust Cancer Flow & Performance Team for an Administrative and Patient Navigation service to the Cancer Multi-Disciplinary Teams.

The Cancer Flow & Performance Team are responsible for the collection, collation and reporting of nationally mandated cancer datasets. The team work closely with members of the cancer multi-disciplinary teams to prospectively manage patients along their cancer pathway, committed to achieving quality cancer services for all patients in accordance with national objectives and standards.  Multi Disciplinary Teams (MDT) provide a specialist decision making process in a weekly meeting, reviewing all relevant diagnostic tests, radiology, histology and medical data in order to plan appropriate treatment for those patients diagnosed with cancer.
