Swansea Bay University Health Board are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join the Digital Intelligence team as a data co-ordinator where you will be instrumental in harnessing the power of data to improve healthcare services, optimise patient outcomes and enhance operational efficiency.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply
Main duties of the job
Job Summary:
• To assist in the provision of comprehensive information for the Health Board, ensuring the highest quality information is available to support current services. This will involve complex analysis and interpretation of all aspects of health information.
• To support the Digital Intelligence internal and external reporting requirements for the Health Board.
• Support the analysis of trend based data, incorporating many sources of information and aspects including where information may not be readily available. Will exercise own judgement in the assumptions made in the production of this information.

- Experience of working within an information environment
- Knowledge of information requirements and standards within a healthcare environment.
Qualifications

- Educated to Diploma Level or equivalent experience
- Evidence of further development and or education and training
Experience
Essential criteria
- Experience in the processing and analysis of information, preferably in a health care setting
- Experience of working with multidisciplinary stakeholders.
- Experience of measurement tools and techniques.
Skills
Essential criteria
- Excellent IT and analytical skills with knowledge of IT tools such as SQL and MS Office.
- Knowledge of Data Warehousing, relational Databases, information systems, Dashboard development and design
- Track record of delivering high quality work in demanding timescales
